Install

Currently, GEOS BI is in its beta phase and cannot be installed via the Microsoft AppSource Marketplace. However, we plan to make it available there in the future. For now, you’ll need to manually download and install the visual by following these steps:

1. Download the Visual:

   Download GEOS BI

2. Open or Create a Power BI Report

   Launch Power BI and open an existing report or create a new one.

3. Import the Visual

   In the Visualizations pane, click on the three-dot icon (•••) and select Import a visual from a file.

   

4. Handle the Security Warning

   A security warning popup will appear. Importing third-party visuals can present security or privacy risks. You can learn more about the security of GEOS BI in the security section.

   Click on the Import Button if you want to proceed.

5. Select the Downloaded File

   Choose the file you downloaded in Step 1 to import the visual.

6. Verify Installation

   A new icon representing GEOS BI will now appear in your list of visuals.
